Specialty ice cream company Dippin' Dots has filed for bankruptcy protection and is currently asking the court to attempt to keep doing business after consulting with a Riverside California bankruptcy lawyer while attempting to stop its bank from foreclosing on the business. The foreclosure activity has been going on for more than a year and the company is almost twelve million dollars in debt while having a value of around twenty million dollars. In the documents filed with the court the company said that the only way it can continue to do business is to use cash on hand and needs court permission to do that.
