It would seem that several congressional districts in the state of Texas might tend to have a greater majority of voters if a plan to redraw districts in that state is approved. Democrats are trying to snatch some seats away from Republican candidates who took over the House in 2008. There are a number of candidates running on a platform of conservative politics who have already started to look into how they can better appeal to minority voters since many minority voters have tended to vote against Republican candidates unless they have been able to offer wide appeal across party lines.
