In 1926, a few concerned citizens
determined that DeSoto County was in need of a Chamber of Commerce.
This group of businessmen established the DeSoto County Chamber of
Commerce in an effort to assist the business community and encourage
economic development. Since that time the DeSoto County Chamber of
Commerce has strived to maintain that same level of community commitment
and, when possible, improve on the services it provides.

Comprised of over 350 citizens and
businesses from around the county, this dynamic organization feels that
by working together we can combine resources to improve the prosperity
